Dena and Adam who deeply adore each other were married on Friday in front of their closest family and friends. These two are such a delight and I couldn’t be more pleased that they now call themselves husband and wife. This is now my fourth bride who is a roller derby gal that skates for the Canberra Roller Derby League. I must say i was thrilled when Dena (A.K.A Cherry) and Adam (A.K.A Cactus) asked me to photograph their wedding.

This wedding was the most unique i have ever photographed – take a look at my stunning bride’s customed designed dress which was created by Gallery Serpentine…amazing!

The day began at the Hyatt Hotel in Canberra where Dena’s best friend, mum and her fabulous brothers who were her bridesmen enjoyed champagne and cheese.  The wedding ceromony was held in the burnt out Mount Stromlo Observatory…it was destroyed in the massives fires that hit Canberra in 2003. When Dena walked in, the look of absolute joy on both of their faces was priceless. The wedding reception which was full of great food, conversation and lots of dancing was held at Scope Restaurant also located on Mount Stromlo. I can’t help but grin when i go through their photos remembering their wedding day as it unfolded.

Cherry and Cactus i hope you’re having an amazing honeymoon and are enjoying every single moment.  Here is a little preview!
